Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

From organisations posting a project (“Clients”)

• Contact details such as name, email address, telephone number, and company name.
• Project information you submit, including project descriptions, sector, budget range, timeline, and any other details you choose to provide.
• Account and login information.

From consulting firms (“Firms”)

• Firm profile information, including firm name, areas of expertise, sectors, descriptions, and contact details.
• Account, login, and billing information.
• Records of which projects you were invited to and which you responded to.

From all visitors

• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your data

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• To operate the Platform and provide the matching service between Clients and Firms.
• To create and manage user accounts and firm profiles.
• To facilitate the connection between Clients and the Firms they select.
• To process payments and issue invoices to Firms.
• To communicate with you about your account, projects, and platform updates.
• To improve and secure the Platform, including fraud prevention.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR: the performance of a contract (to provide the service you request), our legitimate interests (to operate, improve, and secure the Platform), your consent (for non-essential cookies and certain communications), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing of data

A core function of the Platform is to connect Clients with Firms. When a Client selects one or more Firms in connection with a project, the relevant project information and Client contact details are shared with those selected Firms so they can make contact. By using the Platform, Clients understand and accept that their information will be shared with the Firms they choose to connect with.

We may also share data with service providers that support our operations (such as hosting, payment processing, and analytics providers), who act on our instructions under appropriate data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Responsibility for shared data

Once project information and contact details are shared with a selected Firm, that Firm acts as an independent data controller with respect to that data. We are not responsible for how Firms subsequently use, store, or process the information they receive. Clients and Firms are responsible for their own compliance with applicable data protection law in their direct dealings with one another.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. Project information and account data are retained for the duration of your use of the Platform and for a reasonable period thereafter, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Specific retention periods are available on request.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
